Welcome to Northern Exposure, privately owned and managed condominium complex on the beautiful oceans edge on the pristine northern coast of Grand Cayman. Our condominium is situated just 75 feet from the sandy beach. It is nestled among native palms, sea grapes, bougainvillea and almond trees. Our unit offers a view of the freshwater pool, thatched cabana style dock and the incredible azure to cobalt shades of the Caribbean Sea.
Northern Exposure offers an upscale relaxed atmosphere on the quiet northern coast. We find the area to be the best on the island. We avoid the traffic and congestion of Georgetown, while having fine dining, grocery stores, post office and water sport rentals just minutes away.
The interior of our unit is spacious with an airy, open feel. The entire seaside wall, both downstairs off the living room, and on the second level master suite are wall to wall sliding glass doors offering breathtaking views of the ocean, pool and grounds. Through these doors are an open patio downstairs and a screened porch upstairs. The perfect place to sip a cool tropical drink as you enjoy the beautiful Cayman sunset or perhaps an afternoon nap in the comfy hammock!
The living room decor, in keeping with the tropical surroundings, features overstuffed furniture in beautiful island pastels. The room contains a sofa, loveseat, glass top coffee and end tables and an entertainment center with satellite TV, VCR, DVD, and playstation. A collection of movies and reading materials are furnished for those restful periods after a long day of fun in the sun! The adjacent dining room with large table and six chairs also offers a breakfast bar with four stools for casual dining. Located just off the kitchen, a half bath is provided.
The kitchen is bright, done in white with peach Corian countertops. Northern Exposure is our personal Cayman retreat, and being such, you will find the kitchen is fully equipped and ready to whip up snacks and meals for your hungry gang. Included are a full size refrigerator, microwave, electric stove / oven, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, as well as a washer and dryer.
The master bedroom suite features a king size bed, ample dresser and closet space and a TV with VCR. The adjacent master bath provides double bowl sinks, make up area and oversize whirlpool tub and shower. What a sheer delight to awaken and gaze at the gorgeous sea while lying in bed!
The second bedroom provides two twin beds. An inflatable mattress, located in the closet, is available for extra sleeping accommodations. There is also a full bath located off the upstairs hallway.
If you become tired of lounging by the pool or snorkeling the reef (just 100 feet off shore), try a leisurely bike ride along the Queens highway (bikes are stored under the stairs) or your luck at fishing off our private dock (fishing gear also provided). If you manage to land that big Mahi or snapper, use the gas grill on the patio to prepare a seafood feast.
Grand Cayman has been a favorite vacation spot for many years. The kindness and sincerity of the Caymanian people will capture your heart. We never fail to feel as if we are seeing Cayman for the first time every time we visit. We hope that you will love our Caribbean hideaway!
