Northern Lights #3 is a bright and beachy two-story oceanfront townhome located in a quiet 9-unit community on the North Side of Grand Cayman.
This peaceful retreat offers incredible access to shore snorkelling and diving, with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and a Marine Park reef just steps from your lanai.
With a private beach, pool, dock, and complimentary kayak, this home is perfect for couples or families seeking an off-the-beaten-path getaway.

Accommodation:
The master suite features a king-size bed, cable TV, and a private screened lanai with elevated ocean views. The guest bedroom includes two twin beds, which can be converted into a king upon request. A queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area provides extra sleeping space. The home sleeps up to six guests and includes two full bathrooms upstairs and a half bath on the ground floor.

Interior Features:
Relax in the open living area with beachy decor, flat-screen TV, Apple TV, DVD player, and cable. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, spices, condiments, and everything you need to prepare meals. A washer and dryer are included for your convenience.

Starter Essentials Provided:
Your stay includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, a blow dryer, iron, and ironing board. Coffee, tea, and basic cooking items are also provided.

Outdoor Amenities:
Enjoy a large freshwater pool with a cobblestone deck and tropical landscaping, just steps from your screened lanai. The property features a 240-foot private beach, a dock with a swim platform, and a shaded cabana for sunset viewing. Complimentary use of a two-person kayak, snorkelling gear, and two beach chairs is included. Optional amenities such as adult bikes, fishing rods, and lawn games are available on request.

Nearby Attractions:
Northern Lights is just a short drive from Rum Point, Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens, and the Cayman Crystal Caves. Dive operators, waterfront restaurants, and scenic beaches are nearby. Dining options include Tukka East, Vivine’s Kitchen, Over the Edge, Eagle Ray’s Bar & Grill, and the newly reopened Rum Point Restaurant.

"Place looked just like the photos. Everything was so beautiful and serene I wished I booked a longer stay. When we got in check went exactly as described and the unit was well maintained and stocked with necessary items. Would recommend anyone wanting to get away from brim packed George Town/ Westbay area into somewhere more private and quiet to make this your stay

"The pictures of the view of the water from the condo - do not do it justice! The water is such stunning hues of blue. Love that they had so many amenities available for the water and the pool, such as snorkel gear, inflatables and fishing gear! Loved how peaceful and tranquil it was. There are only 9 units so it is not too noisy. Loved that it was on the north side where it is more residential and that we were still very close to Rum Point, starfish point, stingray city and the Bioluminescence. My family appreciated the grill and the stocked kitchen. It also had amenities if you wanted to watch a movie, read a book or just sit on the porch and take in the view. thank you so very much, we absolutely loved your place!!!! We also loved the walk out with the ladder that was in the water!!!

"My daughter and I traveled to Cayman Island to celebrate all of our achievements and successes in life, but especially her graduation from college and Mother’s Day! We absolutely loved spending a week in Don’s beautiful place in the North side, right on the beach❣️We walked the beach every day, including climbing & walking on the rocks, snorkeled off the pier, swam in the pool, enjoyed sunsets from the beach and so on. We rented a car so we could explore the whole island (North, South, East and West), making stops at the Turtle Center, Botanic Gardens, many beaches, including SMB, blowholes, Georgetown, coffee shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Don’s place and appreciated all of the comforts of home that the place provided for us. Hope to return to CI in the future and would love to stay there again! Highly recommend!!

"This was the fourth trip my family has taken to Grand Cayman and our first time staying at Northern Lights.The other reviews are accurate! This condo is fully equipped with everything you could need and the hosts have also provided items you may have forgotten to pack plus left delicious rum cakes!The views are spectacular! We loved snorkeling right off the dock- every day. Our teens loved the pool and soaking up the rays.It was exactly what we were looking for. Definitely will return!

"Great location for those that want something away from the hustle and bustle of 7 Mile Beach. This property with its pool and dock were fantastic attributes. It was a bit windy so the pool was great to have as an alternative to the ocean on those days. Best snorkeling we found on the Island was right off the dock, in a protected Marine Reserve!Perfect choice for us.

"Great location, quiet and peaceful. It’s very easy to get around island so off the path is nice. Home is clean and a little outdated but I’m not buying so it didn’t really matter. Looks like mid 90s build and contractor grade but well kept.

"We spent 2 sunny weeks at Northern Lights # 3. The condo was fantastic. The furnishings were top notch and well maintained. The location is great, between Rum point and the East End. We were within 20 minutes of a bunch of great restaurants and 2 small but well stocked grocery stores. This coastal area is great, you can swim, snorkel or shore dive. The dock made all water activities much easier. In addition the area is full of fish, lots to look at under water. We hope to return in the near future.

"We came to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The home was exactly as described. View was absolutely incredible! Easy code access to home. The home had everything you would need, kitchen supplies well stocked, plenty of clean towels, nice snacks when we arrived. The owner checked on us when hurricane was approaching. We enjoyed the snorkeling gear, the pool and loved snorkeling right off the pier. We loved the North side of island as it was so incredibly peaceful. Close to grocery store and several restaurants. Did I mention the view?!?! We will definitely return for another enjoyable visit!! Thank you for opening your beautiful home!!

"Our host and property manager were very responsive and the location simply cannot be beat. It was quiet and we basically had the pool and cabana to ourselves! Home was fully stocked (way beyond what Airbnb requires) which made traveling internationally much less stressful. We are hoping to come back to this home every year and would recommend this stay to anyone.

"We stayed a week for our spring break. Property was clean and in great shape. Loved the little touches like the Rum cake and chocolate for the kids. The view was amazing and we loved the little dock which was great for watching the sunset and a little fishing in the evening. Also, very laid back compared to some other parts of the island but close enough to some great restaurants and activities. Snorkeling was also fun right off the property. Wife loved it as well and would definitely come back.

"Wow! This was a serious quiet gem of a place to stay. We were looking for a place where we could relax with no stress in calm surroundings with all the trappings of home. This was exactly on point. The rental was so well furnished with whatever you needed it was like staying at someone's home - kitchenware, comfy bed, toiletries, good dishes. The unit was one of 9, and in a beautiful, quiet spot in the East End. Unfortunately, there was quite high winds (with a craft advisory with surf) due to a "cold front" (ha) so we did not snorkel/kayak. We should have the minute we arrived as it was like glass. The view from the pool deck made that just fine - it was still so pretty. It's also shallow enough to just float from the dock. I'd also like to commend the manager - there was an awful issue with another renter and he had it sorted within an hour. Super impressed. Great stay and probably the best kitted out rental ever!

"There were welcome beers, wine, sodas and sweets which was so nice. We enjoyed great snorkeling right off the dock and my husband did a fair amount of fishing, using the provided poles and tackle. The heated pool was also really nice for the kids to change it up. We used the provided bikes to ride over to Crystal Caves and take a tour then rode to Over the Edge restaurant for lunch. For going further, this location is so convenient with a car. We drove to Starfish Point, the blowholes, botanical gardens, Wreck of the 10 Sails and basically covered the whole island from here. It was nice to come back to the welcoming, peaceful and beautiful condo at the end of the day. We loved having a lanai for whatever meals we ate here from the well-stocked kitchen. These are the most generous owners in terms of providing everything you could possibly need, and we’ve stayed at lots of rentals. We would definitely stay here again!

"My husband and I enjoyed a week at this fabulous condo. Although the decor is a bit outdated, that did not bother us one bit considering what great shape everything is in. The kitchen is the most well appointed one that we’ve encountered, and we stay in many Airbnb’s throughout the year. The layout of the condo is perfect, the views are stunning, and the owner was very responsive. We cannot wait to return to Grand Cayman and would definitely love to stay at Northern Lights unit 3 again!

"We stayed at Rum Point 2 years ago and thought that place was nice until we came here! The view from the master room was awesome, the availability of spices, pots/pans extra was nice to come into as well. Other than the neighbor coming over at 9:30pm on our first night asking us to shut down (even though we were just talking on the patio), it was a very memorable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you!
