Cana Cottage at Mastic Cottages offers a 2-bedroom, ground-floor accommodation that combines modern amenities with Caribbean design elements, providing guests with a delightful and comfortable stay. With its high ceilings and synthetic thatch roof, the cottage embodies a tropical ambience, surrounded by lush vegetation for a truly immersive experience. A unique experience for families or groups of travellers if you wish to include the other cottages.

Cana Cottage Accommodation:
The cottage features a main building with a spacious living area, a Master bedroom furnished with a King-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower. The main building also includes an open-concept kitchen equipped with modern stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and a cozy seating area with a sofa and chaise lounge. A large flat-screen smart TV is provided for entertainment, with Netflix and Apple TV capabilities. WiFi is available throughout the property, allowing guests to stay connected during their stay.

Separate Accommodation:
Connected to the main building through a covered breezeway, Cana Cottage offers a separate building that houses the 2nd bedroom suite. This suite includes a King-size bed, a sitting area with a Queen sleeper sofa, and an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Both bedrooms are equipped with their own flat-screen TVs for added convenience.

Entertainment:
One of the highlights of Cana Cottage is the screened-in porch and private screened-in pool, offering a tranquil space to unwind and relax. The maximum depth of the pool is 4 feet. After a day of exploration or enjoying the nearby beaches, guests can cool off in the pool or lounge by the poolside bar and dining area. The outdoor area also features a BBQ grill, a large covered palapa with comfortable seating, and a hammock—a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings and enjoying meals al fresco.
NOTE: The Mastic Cana Cottage guests have access to the private pool, specifically reserved for this unit.

Inclusions:
To ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay, Cana Cottage provides all necessary linens, including beach and bath towels. Bathroom toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap are also included.
For guests staying seven nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay cleaning service is offered to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. Please note that parties and weddings are not permitted without prior consent, and it is advisable to provide details and request permission before planning such events at the cottages.
Complimentary bikes are also provided for your use during your stay.
A pack and play and a high chair are available for your little ones upon request.

Transportation options include:
• Car Rentals: Available through Kayak, Marshall's, or Andy's Rent-a-Car
• Bus Service: • Bus Service: A convenient 5-minute walk to the main road, North Side Road (Old Robin Rd). Public minibuses serve the North Side and can be flagged along the main road, offering routes to and from George Town, North Side, and Frank Sound.

Supermarket and Sunday Closures:
Foster's and Shopright Market supermarkets are short drives away and offer all the necessary food and supplies as well as a large array of international food. Chisholm’s Grocery in Northside is around 15 minutes drive.
Note that supermarkets are closed on Sundays, but most restaurants and gas stations are open. However, this can be pre-ordered and delivered prior to arrival. Certain gas stations also sell liquor on Sundays.

"We had such an incredible and peaceful stay at the Mastic Cottages, the owners were so incredibly kind and the house was so beautiful and unique. we spent our days exploring the rugged yet gorgeous side of east end and north side. while cooking dinner in their big spacious kitchen and finishing it off with some movies before passing out in the extra large and comfy king beds! such a lovely time. "This place was awesome!! We met the owner builder upon arrival. We did not rent a car due to the fact that the driving is on the other side of the road, from what it is in the US. He took us to the grocery store near by and the next day into town. He talked us into renting a car. Which made it so much easier getting around. This place was so quiet and serene. The beds were awesome and we so enjoyed the colored lighting inside and outside. At first we thought we were too far away from things. But by the end of our stay and also spending our last night at a hotel by the airport. We truly enjoyed being away from hustle and bustle. Oh and did I say how comfortable those beds were, because the beds we had at the Hyatt by the airport were terrible. The only thing we were wishing that the indoor screened in pool was heated. We stayed here from 3/1-5, I am sure the pool stays warm during the summer. My friend and I highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb.

A botanical setting on a private estate

"Kariys and Nigel have created a lovely cottage (we stayed at Canna) with well thought out design, creative decor and high end appliances. We never felt like you shouldn't touch or use what's available. The plantings around each cottage are hosts to birds and the elusive parrots was heard and finally seen our last day. For us a manual on lights, air and ins and outs would have been very helpful as there was none. However whenever I emailed Kairys with questions she immediately answered. Nigel is truly a design genius and very down to earth. Always willing to educated us on trails, birds and his botanical designs. One issue was because it's a working estate there were some times when there was some activity in the morning that was heard. We are nature lovers so walked amongst the many plantings and woods, then snorkel and came back to dip in the pool. We already miss it all.

"Our stay at Don’s cottage was absolutely fantastic! The space was spacious, impeccably clean, and had such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding. "This place is fantastic, and Kairys and Nigel are wonderful hosts. Kairys was super accomodating, allowing us to drop off our stuff including perishable items in the fridge early while they got the unit ready on check-in day. We loved the nature walk and wealth of information Nigel had to offer on the plants on the island. The Unit is very modern, clean, quiet, and conveniently located on the north side of the island. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to be back some day.

"I had the privilege of using the Mastic Cottages for my local wellness retreat by Authentic You Retreats.... and had an amazing experience! The communication from the beginning to end on the booking, questions, minor trouble shooting, and overall execution...was top notch! I can recommend this property to anyone seeking solitude, a pure experience of nature (the birds were amazing), by such caring owners. "The place is fantastic, beautifully done, comfortable, private, nested in nature, and minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops. The cottage was very luxurious and comfortable, beds were great and we slept very well, and everything available to cooks. Excellent initial contact with Don who was very helpful, and Nigel and Cairys were amazing hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful and really got out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Best Airbnb we ever stayed in and better than most 5-star hotels. We would stay at Mastic cottages again any time and highly recommend it!
