Welcome to Colonial Kai Condo at Kaibo Yacht Club! Situated in the stunning Kaibo area within the Kaibo Yacht Club condo Phase II complex, this 2-bed, 2-bath, 2nd-floor oasis offers privacy and breathtaking views.

Here, you'll discover a serene walking beach right on the property, complemented by a spacious freshwater pool and a heated jacuzzi with a beautiful, bright new resurfaced finish—your ultimate relaxation haven.

The Space

Stylish Interior:
Colonial Kai, has lavish furnishings, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards. Whether you're a family with children or a couple seeking a romantic escape, you'll find this condo to be the perfect retreat.

Large windows frame the picturesque sunset and the tranquility of Kaibo Beach and North Sound, making every moment memorable. Your vacation at Colonial Kai promises not just comfort, but also a front-row seat to the natural beauty of the Cayman Islands. Welcome to your dream getaway!

Entertainment:
Colonial Kai is equipped with Samsung SMART TVs in the living area, and both bedrooms. The SMART TVs in the living area and primary bedroom have the local FLOW Cable channels along with SMART Apps. The SMART TV in the guest bedroom has SMART Apps. Users can log into their favorite subscriptions including Netflix, Prime, Amazon, etc.

Accommodation:
- A large Master Suite with a King bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and direct access to the large lanai is perfect for the couple that wants to get away from it all.
- The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and an en-suite bathroom.
- Upon request these beds can be converted into a king-bed setup with a comfy topper to make this suitable for couples.
The condo can sleep up to 4 guests.

Fully Equipped:
The fully equipped modern kitchen has all of the appliances you'll need, including a Keurig coffee maker. The condo is also equipped with a full-size front-loading washer and dryer.

Essential Starter Pack Included:
Kitchen Essentials: Dishwashing liquid and/or dishwasher tabs, basic pantry items such as salt, pepper and coffee filters to get you started.
Home Essentials Include: Comprehensive starter pack including shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, a blow dryer, and an iron with board. Towels, linens and beach towels are also provided.

Convenient Location:
The popular Kaibo Beach Grill and Bar is next door, serving lunch and dinner. Rum Point Beach and the Red Sail Sports watersports operation are just around the corner - a 5-minute drive. The Rum Point Water Ferry also runs daily from the Kaibo Yacht Club to Camana Bay at 7 Mile Beach.

Inclusions:
You also have your own private BBQ grill and free use of a 1-person kayak plus a SUP - Stand Up Paddleboard!
The condo is beach-ready with 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a tote cooler. The calm waters in the surrounding area are ideal for kayaking.

Dining & Nearby Attractions:
The Kaibo Restaurant and Upstairs fine dining are located next door. Grab a wood-fired pizza or coffee and croissant from the on-site café, or explore nearby Rum Point — known for its beach, casual food, Red Sail Sports excursions, and famous Mud Slides.

Water Taxi & Excursions:
Skip the drive and catch the water taxi directly outside your condo to Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach. Once there, explore shopping, dining, and nightlife, or cross the pedestrian bridge to access the beach on foot. Snorkel or dive in world-renowned Cayman waters, with great spots located right in front of the condo and around Rum Point.

Property Promotions:
Automatic discounts may apply based on your travel dates, including seasonal “Stay 7, Pay 6” offers (May 1 to Nov 1,2026), last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
All eligible offers are applied automatically, and cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits; blackout dates (December 17 – January 3) and other restrictions apply.

Transportation options include:
• Car Rentals: Available through Kayak, Marshall's, or Andy's Rent-a-Car
• Bus Service: A convenient 5-minute walk to the nearest stop, with regular service along West Bay and Seven Mile Beach

Supermarket and Sunday Closures:
The closest grocery stores (Foster’s Express, Chisholm’s Grocery) are 15–20 minutes away.
Note: Grocery stores are closed on Sundays, but gas stations and restaurants remain open. Some gas stations also sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery delivery is available on request.

Check-in:
- You will receive basic instructions once you book, and we will send a message with the door code 2-days before arrival.
- You can check in anytime after 4:00 PM and as late as you like, you'll have a pin code access to get in.
- Early check-in is subject to the cleaning schedule following departing guests and can be confirmed with the property manager the day before your arrival.

Check-out:
Self check out @ 11:00 AM: You will receive all the instructions once you book, in the welcome message and before arrival.
- There is NO Late Check-out, unless arranged with the property manager as we need to get the apartment ready for next guests.

Note for Easter Week Bookings: Please be aware that the Easter season is a vibrant and cherished time in Grand Cayman. While this offers a unique opportunity to experience local traditions and beachside festivities, guests should expect increased activity and a lively atmosphere in the Kaibo Kai area during this period.

Peaceful Stay with Great Service and Beautiful Views

"Make me a title and guest review: The property was exactly as described and was perfect for what we were looking for. Sun, sand, peace and quiet and a great pool. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was very well appointed. One of the showers had a squeak that stopped us from using it but as soon as we mentioned it to the property manager, they sent a plumber the next day to fix it. The property management was very responsive and helpful. I asked if they had bbq utensils that maybe we couldn’t find and they were dropped off the next day. The screened in balcony overlooking the pool was an absolute delight and was used each morning for coffee and breakfast. We also ate a couple of dinners sitting out there as well. You definitely need a car if you stay in Rum Point but it was great to be staying away from the chaos of seven mile beach, but have the opportunity to visit if wanted. Would definitely come back to the Kaibo condos if we come back to Grand Cayman. Thanks for a great stay!

"This spot is quiet, peaceful, and perfect for our family. Our favorite touches about this place were the stand up paddle board, kayak, the robes, beach towels, and stocked spices. We enjoyed every meal on the balcony and also loved to swing in the hammocks or swim in the pool. We actually saw more starfish here than at starfish point! The water is not turquoise blue like it is on 7 mile but it is still crystal clear and very calm in the cove.

"We spent Christmas in Paradise! The accommodations at Colonial Kai were perfect four our family of four adults. There was plenty of space, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and beach decor. We used the stand up paddle board, walked to starfish point, relaxed in the pool and on the beach. Having Kaibo Yacht Club right next door was ideal for our snorkel excursion, BBQ dinner, and coffee shop. We would gladly return to this condo!

"Dreamy location, total comfort This place hit all the marks. Super clean, beautifully kept, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable with luxury bedding—we slept like babies every night. We were literally just steps from the beach, and the pool sits right between the condo and the ocean. The infinity edge overlooks the sand and water, and the sunsets? Absolutely stunning. The local store, though small, had plenty of our favorite U.S. staples, which made it easy to cook at home and save money for activities and water sports. We loved hearing live music float over from Kaibo in the evenings—it added to the laid-back island vibe without being overwhelming. If you’re looking for a peaceful, convenient, and comfortable beach stay with top-notch views, this is it. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

"Place was as described and one of the cleanest places we have stayed. We walked in and husband said, “very well done dear”. Everything we needed was available to us. To who left comment, pans could be replaced. They had been with very nice ones. We did go over to SMB but didn’t stay long as eager to get back to less people. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. All the properties in the area are very well kept. Very nice grocery store and liquor store close by. We should have skipped Fosters and just grabbed what we needed closer by.

"Clean, amazing spot with hammocks, pool/hot tub, beach sand, I loved the restaurant nearby with low ambient music at night and pretty lights… roosters roamed the property for your alarm clock lol.. all the amenities were there, regular sized shamp/conditioners in both bathrooms, hand/laundry/dish soap, sunscreen, towels, dishes… only complaint pots need to be replaced, only one good stainless pot to use. Beautiful homes to drive by to get to the condo, and Rum Point restaurant 2mins away was a huge outdoor beachy spot to go to for sunset!

"Fantastic place to stay! Great location. Very clean. Highly recommend. The condo was great for our family of three (two adults and one child). It was more spacious than expected. The kitchen came stocked with all of the cooking necessities. The patio was great for relaxing after a day at the pool or on the beach. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The restaurant next door was great for days when we didn't feel like cooking. The pool and beach were perfect. Starfish Point is very close. The area is quiet and relaxed. The host was very responsive, helpful, and super nice.

"The property was a great “base of operations” to explore the island. We were amazed at how stocked the unit was with many little things like cooking spray and spices that we didn’t need to buy. "We got off to a bad start with zero communication from the property manager until I had contacted both the owner and the management company several hours after our arrival. I had messaged several weeks out and then one week in advance and followed all instructions about reaching out to them via Whatsapp beforehand. I sent questions to the owner via VRBO as well to help me know what to bring but Don never answered. Communication was lacking. Overall the unit is a bit weary but it was exceptionally clean and adequate for our stay. Amenities could be provided to assist with guest comfort (shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee,etc) - a bit of extra effort would make a difference. I burned my hand badly after microwaving a mug - only non-microwaveable mugs in the unit. The seal on the stove is gone so using it makes the unit hot (not a huge deal, the AC works pretty well but the master bedroom is notably hotter than the other rooms), the dishwasher was completely broken - we tried using it the first night and it leaked so much (and pieces inside were disassembled so my husband put it back together), we just washed our dishes by hand. The second bedroom had numerous scented products in it (air freshener and dryer sheets under the beds) and I had to remove them) as my kids were sneezing from the perfume. Sandra, the cleaner, was there when we arrived and she was very welcoming and pleasant - clearly an asset on the team. The kids enjoyed the pool every day and the property was lovely.

"Stayed for a week with our 2 children. The area is wonderful - we keep going back! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a week of relaxation. The views from the patio and master bedroom are just as pictured in the listing. Would definitely go back!

"Very quiet, pool/hot tub were a big plus. The location is well worth the drive from the airport. The condo is so well equipped with everything you need! Clean, quiet, hosts were efficient! Can’t beat the sunset views from any window!

"Its shared living space is ample and bedroom & bathroom areas are well seperated and private. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated from kitchen smallwares to very comfortable bedding to extra-large beach towels—all you need bring is your bathing suit and toothbrush. The Rum Point area is luxurious and quiet, with far less density than other tourist areas of Grand Cayman. (You will need a car) Above all Don and his on site manager, Elmelinda, made sure everything was perfect, answering any questions promptly and with generous concern. It’s easy to see how they have earned their Five Stars. Bravo!

"Anniversary trip for me, my brother, and our wives. Amazingly clean and exceptionally large condo in Kaibo. Kitchen was well stocked. Property was idyllic with the palms, hammocks, and yacht club. Restaurant next door was convenient. Nice grill, paddle board, and 1-man kayak but probably need one more of each for two couples. Four stars for two reasons: Second bedroom was advertised as twin beds that could be converted to a queen—not true. The twin mattresses were still 4-5” apart after pushing the beds together. My brother and his wife slept on twin beds for their Cayman anniversary trip…. Master shower knob is a cypher. Needed a technician to come and explain how HOT is in the cold direction, but only half way…. Property manager was very nice but doesn’t monitor all of her messaging apps so it was three days of cold showers. Otherwise, if you want to be away from the crowds, this is the best place on Grand Cayman. Many of the tours will pick you up in Kaibo or Rum Point.
