Korner Kai is a beautifully furnished second floor corner condo located in the Kaibo Yacht Club Phase II community in Rum Point.
With panoramic beach views, a private screened lanai, and access to a waterfront pool and heated jacuzzi, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath retreat is ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking a peaceful North Side escape and located about a 50–60 minute drive from Seven Mile Beach and the international airport.

Korner Kai sits within the Kaibo Yacht Club Phase II community, placing guests steps from the beach, pool, and waterfront dining at Kaibo. Rum Point Beach and the North Side’s top water activities are a short drive away, while the Rum Point Water Ferry offers a scenic route between Kaibo and Camana Bay for easy access to Seven Mile Beach.

WATER TAXI & EXCURSIONS
•    Water taxi service from the Kaibo dock provides easy access across the North Sound to Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach.
•    Once there, guests can enjoy boutique shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and a scenic walk to Seven Mile Beach.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING
•    Second-floor unit with stair access only and no elevator.
•    One free reserved parking space is provided.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

SEASONAL NOTE
During Easter week, guests should expect increased local activity and a livelier atmosphere in the Kaibo Kai area, reflecting one of Grand Cayman’s most vibrant holiday periods.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"We had a great week at Korner Kai. The travel crib was extra helpful so we didn’t have to travel with one. All the beach stuff (snorkels, chairs, towels, cooler, beach toys, etc) made it easy to spend lots of time by the water. This side of the island is definitely quieter which is exactly what we were looking for. Just be sure to get groceries before driving to this side of the island (especially if it’s Sunday - lots of things are closed on Sunday). The only downside was that they are redoing the beach front next door to this condo so there was a lot of construction noise at all hours of the morning/day/evening. Obviously not something the hosts can change, but just be prepared.

"Condo was perfect for our family of 5 to enjoy the beautiful island! It was clean with abundance of extras from beach chairs, coolers, towels, sand/pool toys, games, and more! I especially appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which saved me from having to pack these things. The kitchen was stocked with essentials. Patio furniture was a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker! Our teenage daughter slept on the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. The location is in a nice quiet area which we very much enjoyed but it does require you to have a car and expect to drive a bit to really explore the island.All and all we would definitely stay here again!

"We loved our stay. The apartment has everything you could need and really comfy beds. The location is lovely, right on the beach. The Kaibo coffee shop and restaurant is a minutes walk and rum point about 20 minutes. It is so quiet. Everyday we got sun loungers and hammocks on the beach and there were paddle boards and kayaks available to use. The hosts were amazing and looked after us.

"Our family stayed at the property for week and had an amazing time. We were not sure which side of the island to stay but after spending some time here we were so pleased with our choice. It was quiet , peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the west end. The property was perfect for our family. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed having quick access to east end as well. Having the Kaibo yacht club was an added bonus. We walked over for food and drinks several times and were treated to life music on several occasions. There were several tour boat based out of the yacht club so getting to depart lure spot was a stress free few minutes walk. The beach was clean and well kept with very peaceful bay and opportunities to snorkel for our kids. The pool overlooking beach area was hard to beat and never too crowded. If we were ever to return to the island we would not hesitate to stay here again. Lots of great memories were made.

"Everything was as described in the condo! Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful week at Korner Kai. This was our first time in Grand Cayman and we were really glad that we read the reviews and selected this less busy and more quiet location. There was always a chair on the beach or at the pool available. We went out for a nighttime hot tub several times and often we were the only ones there. The condo was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook in several times. There were plenty of beach towels, a couple of coolers and extra snorkels (although one was broken). It was also great to have the Kaibo Club nearby although we just ate there twice. Rum Point is also very close (1 mile) and was a nice spot to check out another beach and have a cocktail at the bar. We also took our snorkel masks to a sandbar at Rum Point and saw several stingrays.Communication with the property management team was clear and easy. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. For example, when we arrived in the late afternoon we noticed that there wasn’t a drip coffee pot (only a Keurig) and we hadn’t bought any Keurig pods. I contacted them and they had housekeeping bring a coffee pot later that evening. Also, we ordered groceries from Hurley’s ahead of time since we arrived on Christmas Eve and property management handled the delivery seemlessly.If we return to Grand Cayman, we would definitely consider staying here again!

"Access to a spotless beach just outside, pool and starfish point a short walk away. Full kitchen was great and it wasn't missing anything, even had some basic spices so we didn't have to run for anything. Only complaint is that GPS didn't take us to the right spot (was about 2 blocks away) but I don't think much can be done about that

"Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Korner Kai. The property is such a nice set up, with the beach and pool right on property. The complex is a decent size but small enough that there is no problem getting chairs on the beach or at the pool, and you can run right back to the condo for anything else you need. We stayed over spring break and Easter weekend, so there were many locals at the public beach right next door. That was no problem, as they were never loud and the condo complex even hired security to ensure no one wandered onto our beach or parking that wasn't supposed to. We always felt very safe. The location on Kaibo is really nice, next to the coffee shop and Kaibo Beach Grill, very convenient and close to Starfish Point and Rum Point. The condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs, cooler, pool floats, sand toys, flippers. There were even games and books. Wifi and TV worked great, lots of US channels and DVDs provided. The laundry machine was convenient, and dish washer, as well as all the kitchen items that we needed. Grills are on site for use. There is a shed with some things stored, but we didn't really use anything in there. Communication with the property company was great. We received information well in advance of our trip, and received texts from our contact upon arrival to ensure we were able to get inside. We had no issues so we never needed to reach out for any help, but they were always just a text away.

"Secluded and not filled to tourists is exactly what we wanted for home base - it didn’t disappoint. Then during day we explored the island. We had a car. We toured 7 Mile Beach and Northside, but returned to peace and tranquility for the evenings. The condo itself was amazing. My wife said one it was possibly the nicest condo we have rented thus far. The sun porch/balcony (fully screened) was spacious with amazing views of the bay. Beautiful kitchen, master suite was roomy with great views, bed was comfortable as were pillows. Lots of space. The twin bed room also nice and it was so nice to have two full baths. Parking could be tricky and there are stairs, but that is the worst thing I can say about it!

Great condo in quite area

"Loved our stay. Ocean front and next to Kaibo restaurant where we enjoyed several meals and cocktails. The condo was so well stocked from towels and coolers for our time on the beach, to the kitchen. So many rentals are stripped down to only the bare essentials, while Korner Kai was well stocked throughout. Including basic spices so you could actually prepare a few meals. Host suggested we order groceries to be delivered upon our arrival which was a great suggestion. Would absolutely stay here again when returning and choosing the quiet and more affordable side of the island.

"The condo looked bigger than the photos. It was well stocked. There were beach toys and snorkels masks, books, plenty of towels, sunscreen, etc. and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking a few meals to save on dining out. The Kaibo Beach restaurant and Rum Point restaurants were nearby and we walked to Rum Point (about 25 mins each way) and Starfish Point (roughly 10 mins each way). It was nice to be able to get to these spots off hours away from tours. Walking down the dock at Kaibo right in front of our condo, we were able to find a private unplanned charter to Stingray City and a snorkel nearby for less than what other companies were advertising for group rates and many tours come and go from there. The beach has a hot tub, as well as an unheated pool which we enjoyed. The views from the balcony were wonderful too. Don and the property manager, Melinda, were both very attentive and helpful. Would definitely come back one day.

"The beach and pool were only a few steps away and there were always chairs available. Perfection in Cayman at Kaibo Yacht Club

"This is the perfect place on the quieter side of the island. You are close to Starfish Point, Rum Point, and the Bioluminescent Bay.
