Welcome to the deluxe Cayman Getaway at Morritt’s Tortuga Club in Grand Cayman’s East End, a well appointed 1 bedroom, 1 bath third floor condo that blends resort perks with the comforts of home.
Guests enjoy access to three pools, hot tubs, tennis, mini golf, daily activities, on site dining, coffee, and cocktails—all right on property.
Located directly across from the beach and roughly a 35 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport, this condo makes a great base for exploring the East End, Rum Point, Crystal Caves, Bioluminescent Bay, and wild turtle snorkeling, while still offering a relaxing resort setting to come home to.

LIVING AREA & INTERIOR FEATURES
•    Bright living and dining area with queen pull out sofa, futon chair, and dining table for four.
•    Large flat screen TV, board games, and books for cozy evenings in.
•    Back patio with table and chairs overlooking swaying palms, the resort pool, and glimpses of the ocean—ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks.

BEDROOM & BATHROOM
•    Master suite with queen size bed, dresser, and flat screen TV with DVD.
•    Spa style bathroom featuring a glass enclosed rain shower, handheld sprayer, and custom onyx tile with ocean inspired décor.
•    The condo comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests using the queen pull out sofa in the living room.

KITCHEN & ESSENTIALS
•    Full kitchen with new appliances, granite countertops, and all cookware, dishes, and utensils needed to cook or bake like home.
•    Stocked with a variety of spices and extras to make meal prep easy.

ESSENTIALS, INCLUSIONS & HOUSEKEEPING
PROPERTY INCLUSIONS
•    Beach and pool towels can be refreshed at the towel shed as often as you like at no additional charge.
•    Housekeeping Package - Initial cleaning fee: $225 — Covers pre-arrival clean with starter supplies (toiletries, paper goods, soaps) and one complimentary mid-stay refresh (fresh linens, towels, light tidying).
•    Extended stays (7+ nights): Additional weekly housekeeping service is available for $75 per week. Simply arrange your refresher clean through the Morritt's Front Reception Desk. Each service includes a light refresh with restocked paper products and essentials to keep your condo comfortable throughout your extended stay.

LAUNDRY
•    Washer and dryer are located in a shared common area just outside the building.
•    Machines operate with tokens purchased at the front desk (cash).
•    Laundry detergent is available at the grocery store across the street.

DINING & DRINKS (ON SITE & NEARBY – EAST END)
ON SITE AT MORRITT’S
•    Mimi’s Dock Bar & Restaurant – Casual oceanfront spot for fresh seafood, grill favorites, and tropical cocktails, plus a lively Monday Night Welcome Party with entertainment and dancing.
•    David’s Restaurant – Sit down restaurant offering seafood, steak specials, and island inspired dishes.
•    George’s Coffee Shop – Convenient spot for your morning coffee; a coffee maker and filters are also provided in the condo.
•    Grocery, liquor, and souvenir shops are within walking distance, and free shuttles run to selected local restaurants at certain times.

NEAR MORRITT’S IN EAST END (SHORT DRIVE)
•    La Casita (East End) – About a 5 minute drive for Mexican fare in the East End area.
•    Tukka East – About a 5–7 minute drive for Aussie Caribbean fusion, seafood, and ocean views.
•    Eagle Ray’s Bar & Grill – Roughly 5–7 minutes away for burgers, tacos, and casual fare overlooking the water.
•    The Italian Kitchen – Approximately a 5–10 minute drive for pizzas and Italian inspired dishes.
•    Vivine’s Kitchen / other local spots – Within 10–15 minutes’ drive for home style Caymanian cooking.

ADVENTURE & WATER SPORTS
•    Red Sail Sports (on site/nearby) – Offers jet skis, sailing, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, and other watersports.
•    Tortuga Divers (on site) – Full service scuba operator for snorkelling trips, dive excursions, and certification courses; snorkel gear available to rent.
•    Tours & Excursions: Book Stingray City, Starfish Point, reef snorkeling, fishing charters, and private tours with partners such as All Sea Sun Tours, often with special guest rates.

EXPLORE EAST END & BEYOND
From Morritt’s Tortuga Club, many of Grand Cayman’s best East End and North Side attractions are within about 20–30 minutes by car:
•    Crystal Caves, Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, Blow Holes, and Cayman Parrot Sanctuary.
•    Rum Point, Kaibo, and Bioluminescent Bay for beach clubs, dining, and night time kayak tours.
•    Snorkel off Mimi’s Dock or head to Smith’s Barcadere, Eden Rock, Macabuca, or Spotts Beach to see wild turtles.
•    Day trips to Seven Mile Beach, Cemetery Beach, or the quirky town of Hell, plus horseback riding on the beach or ATV tours along the coast.

GETTING AROUND
•    Morritt’s Tortuga Club is approximately a 35 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport, George Town, and Seven Mile Beach, in the East End district of Grand Cayman.
•    Public buses and taxis are available, but renting a car at the airport is strongly recommended as the most cost effective and flexible way to explore the island.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 10 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 10 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING
•    Third floor unit with stair access only (no elevator).
•    One free reserved parking space is provided.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We had a few minor glitches, but the owner and Cayman Vacation were caring and responsive and solved our issues immediately. The condo was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and presented as it looked online. The resort was amazing, with beach chairs and towels, three pools, snorkeling on-site, great food, awesome restaurants nearby, and walking distance to a market and liquor store! What more could you ask for? We had an amazing vacation and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for the memories!
