On the Bay #103 is a bright, ground floor 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo set in a lush, tropical beachfront resort in Old Man Bay on Grand Cayman’s North Side.
With views of the gardens and sea, a private patio, direct access to the resort pool, and a protected swimming cove just steps away, it offers a peaceful alternative to Seven Mile Beach while still being within about 10 minutes of Rum Point and nearby dining.
It’s ideal for families or small groups looking for island tranquility, snorkeling, and easy access to North Side and Rum Point attractions.

•    Fresh linens and ample closet space in each room

STARTER ESSENTIALS
Guests are welcomed with a comprehensive starter pack including dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee filters.
Linens, bath towels, beach towels, a blow dryer, and an iron with board are also provided, along with charcoal bags and utensils for the BBQ.

BEACH & OUTDOOR AMENITIES
This small resort is designed for relaxed days by the water, with a natural, North Side feel.
•    Large oceanfront freshwater pool with loungers and a shaded gazebo
•    Beachfront area with a natural cove offering calm water for swimming and snorkeling, especially good for children
•    Rocky shoreline in places—water shoes are recommended for comfort and footing
•    Communal charcoal BBQ grill near the pool/beach for casual outdoor cooking
The protected cove and reef offshore make this a great spot for those who enjoy snorkeling, floating, and simply unwinding by the sea away from the busier areas of the island.

BEACH CONDITIONS
Properties on the North Side and East End of Grand Cayman may occasionally see sargassum (seaweed) wash ashore, mostly between May and August. This is a natural, seasonal occurrence throughout the Caribbean, and conditions can vary day to day.

Grand Cayman offers gorgeous beaches, great snorkeling, and plenty to enjoy island-wide, so we don't anticipate it impacting your trip, just a heads-up in case you notice it during your visit.

DINING & NEARBY AREA – NORTH SIDE & RUM POINT
Old Man Bay and the North Side offer a laid back, local dining scene with some very popular spots within a short drive.

VERY CLOSE (OLD MAN BAY / NORTH SIDE)
•    Over the Edge – Long time North Side favorite right on the water with Caribbean dishes, seafood, and a casual bar atmosphere.
•    The Caboose – Well reviewed local spot in Old Man Bay known for Caribbean flavors and easy, relaxed vibes.
•    Other local stands and cafes – Small, authentic stops for Caymanian bites along the North Side and into East End.

RUM POINT & CAYMAN KAI (ABOUT 10–15 MINUTES)
•    Rum Point Club – Casual beachfront restaurant and bar with pizzas, beach fare, and the island famous Mudslide.
•    Kaibo Beach Restaurant & Upstairs Restaurant – Beachfront dining downstairs and a more refined experience upstairs, popular for sunset dinners and cocktails.
You’re also within an easy drive of water based activities at Rum Point and Cayman Kai, including boat charters, snorkeling trips, and sandbar excursions.

GETTING THERE
Old Man Bay is roughly 30 km from Owen Roberts International Airport, typically about 30–40 minutes by car depending on traffic and stops along the way.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 10 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 10 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in Northside, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

Great Stay Overall

"Everything was great outside of the private beach. Unfortunately, it was completely filled in and covered with sargassum. We let the property manager know and they sent a couple of guys to try to clean it up. But, it was too much for a two person job and the beach was completely unusable for the entire stay.

"We loved On the Bay! It was peaceful and perfect for our family of 5. Amenities were great… great kitchen, toiletries and paper products were provided, which was very nice! The pool, grill, restaurants, activities were awesome. Great to know you can book activities out of Rum Point. No need to go to 7 mile. Did the stingray/snorkel/starfish tour, bioluminescent tour, rum tasting and enjoyed many restaurants! Loved Kaibo, Tukka, Over the Edge and Rum Point. Perfect location. Everyone was great at communication from our check in, to questions about where to go/how to schedule, and our checkout. They became like friends! Can’t wait to come back!! ☀️

"We had a lovely stay at On The Bay! Property was just as described and matched listing photos well. We loved the location - away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown but centrally located to just about everything, including East end attractions! We had the heated pool and beach mostly to ourselves but did enjoy interacting with the other complex residents on occasion. On The Bay was very clean, quiet, and spacious and truly had everything that we needed. Only ‘complaint’ would be that the living room tv does not connect to WiFi so we could not use smart features; property management however was very responsive and provided a work-around solution for the duration of our stay, which was much appreciated! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place great location

"This is the second stay we have had at the On The Bay location with two different family groups. Our stay this time was as great as the last time. Everything is well provisioned. It is easy to get to. It is a fantastic location on the island away from the busier sections but with easily accessible groceries, liquor and restaurants, including a mini mart, liquor store and restaurant within easy walking distance. The condo has everything you need for beach outings or just some stay at home fun. It is close to Rum Point, which has great snorkeling out by the dock. Starfish point is not far away either, not to mention the public beaches too many to count. Highly recommend for an easy family getaway and some relaxation. Oh, and there is a pool just off the back deck that is excellent for kids and adults who may want a break from salt water and just chill for a while.

"We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location was central yet quiet, making it the perfect home base for exploring. We especially loved the peaceful lagoon right out front—it was such a serene spot to start and end our days. The unit itself was spacious, clean, and very well-stocked with everything we needed. Ample parking made things super convenient, and Betty Ann was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We truly loved this spot and hope to return again soon.

Relax at this hidden gem

"Our group of 6 adults really enjoyed this hidden gemLoved that it was a 1st floor unit; Literally a minute from the patio to pool or lagoon. Loved that it was quieter property - only 12 units - could get a pool or beach chair at any time of day. Condo:Beds were comfie. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP, laundry soap provided. Kitchen was great. Only thing it was missing was a baking sheet. Fridge had ice maker which was much appreciated. We *loved* the big kitchen table - great for family meals and playing games. Condo had lots of beach items (towels, mask & flippers, pool noodles, floaties, etc.).Property:Loved the *heated* pool. Swam/floated in lagoon 2-3 times every day. Snorkeling in lagoon was surprisingly good - saw a variety of smaller fish as well as a porcupine fish, juvenile barracuda, etc. The ocean brings in trash to the far left side of lagoon but the rest of lagoon was fine. The groundskeepers clean up the trash and sargassum on beach every 1-2 days. Only issue we had was the communal charcoal BBQ didn't work well as the damper was rusted out. We used the electric grill in the condo to cook burgers and sausages instead.Area:-Loved that convenience & liquor store, gift shop & Caboose restaurant were only 7 minute walk away. -Also went to Crystal caves, Botanical garden, Starfish/Rum point, Over the Edge restaurant, etc. - all close byThank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us :-)

"Property was very nice and is located in a quiet part of the island. Excursions are easily accessible from the Rum Point area. If you are looking to get away from the busier area of seven mile beach this is the perfect location. The beach at the property was nice but the ocean was not usable during our stay due to high winds and waves on that area of the island. There is a small ocean pool that was usable and would be great for small children. Overall great time and excellent accommodation.

"Spent a week and the whole family was super comfortable having their own bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped, BBQ is available on site. The pool is heated which is a plus for those windy days! It’s a beachfront property and there’s plenty of parking available. Restaurants, groceries and liquor stores are nearby some even within walking distance. The location is in the North End and it’s close to the Crystal Caves (walking distance), as well as, Rum Point and Starfish Beach (less than 30 mins drive). The East End is also close by where you can find plenty of restaurant options. From Georgetown and the airport you’re looking at about an hour or less depending on traffic. Definitely recommend staying here for a comfortable visit in the Cayman Islands, Don & team are amazing hosts!

"Great hosts, very communicative and friendly. The condo is gorgeous and spotless. We basically had the pool to ourselves and the private cove of the ocean was a big hit with our 12 year old and his 74 year old grandpa. Despite being in the middle of tropical storm Sara this November the boys spent hours, days in the water (sometimes in the rain). We hit all the local spots after much research, the trip was perfect celebrating a milestone birthday. The place itself was 'as advertised' and had so many extras. Lots of spices for cooking, bug spray, hot pot (which we used every day), nice cooking accommodations, grill, charcoal, pool toys, beach chairs, fuzzy blanket, kitties to feed. Local management on site was attentive to our needs and communication was spectacular. It really was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely return.

"They gave very clear instructions and the recommendations for activities/excursions were very generous and convenient. The place looked exactly like the photos and was super spacious and clean. The amenities were a plus, as well as, Don providing supplies for the amenities such as beach/pool towels, beach chairs and umbrella, floaties, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the Caymans.

"Loved the north side with easy access to snorkeling, Rum Point, Botanical Gardens and such. Traffic was easy and quiet. Had the pool to ourselves the week we were there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had basic supplies including spices. The only minor complaint is that there was no cookie sheet to use in the oven for things like garlic bread, pizza, etc. Would be nice to have a pizza cutter and ice cream scoop. Again, minor. Overall, we loved the location, ease to get to anywhere but smb, and quiet. The cats entertained my kiddos. Would stay here again.

"This was a phenomenal place to stay. The private beach and lagoon were awesome with great snorkeling. The host was so responsive and always went above and beyond, especially our last day there. We will absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time in paradise!

"Loved our stay at On the Bay! Excellent location away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. We loved the private beach and pool. Accommodations fit our family of 5 perfectly.Kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make simple meals. No baking sheets to use in the oven but we improvised with foil. Plenty of bath and pool towels available. Definitely would stay here again!
