Just a 5 minute walk (about ¼ mile) from Rum Point Beach, this cozy retreat sits along a peaceful stretch of Caribbean coastline with 400 feet of powder soft sand, crystal clear water, and excellent snorkelling right offshore.

It’s ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a relaxing North Side escape with easy access to dining, activities, and top attractions, typically about a 45 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport and the Seven Mile Beach corridor.

•    Rum Point Club & Restaurant – About a 3–5 minute walk (1–2 minutes by car) for oceanfront dining, beach bar favorites, hammocks, and a classic beach club vibe.
•    Red Sail Sports at Rum Point – Also a 3–5 minute walk, offering Stingray City trips, snorkelling, diving, paddleboarding, and kayak rentals.
•    Kaibo Beach Bar & Grill – Roughly a 5–7 minute drive for casual beachfront lunches, wood fired pizzas, and sunset cocktails.
•    Upstairs at Kaibo – An upscale fine dining restaurant above Kaibo Beach Grill, also about a 5–7 minute drive.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

•    Ground-floor condo.
•    On site free parking is included.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

SEASONAL NOTE
During Easter week, guests should expect increased local activity and a livelier atmosphere in the Kaibo Kai area, reflecting one of Grand Cayman’s most vibrant holiday periods.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"Sea Biscuit is a great villa near Rum Point. It is quiet, clean and features so many extras for your stay. Nice towels, comfy bed, AC and fans, coffee maker and Nespresso machine as well as shampoo and conditioner. There are two lanais which are screened in and one features great ocean views. You can also stare at the ocean from the bedroom and living room. There is also a beach to lounge on and a public beach nearby. This was the perfect villa for our stay.

"We’ve repeatedly stayed in the Cayman Kai area, preferring this quieter side of the island, but this was the first time at Sea Lodges. For most of our almost-two-weeks, we felt like the only people there. The breezes and views and location near all our favorite parts of the island made it a really enjoyable trip for my husband and me. The drift snorkel down to Rum Point is a highlight of this location. A comfortable bed and AC at night ensured good sleeping and the bikes were utilized every day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here and highly recommend Sea Biscuit for a really relaxing getaway.

Relaxing and Laid Back

"I last stayed at this property 55 years ago when my family vacationed at Cayman Kai each spring to snorkel and scuba dive. My childhood memories proved to be pretty accurate! The complex is quiet, laid back and beautiful. Snorkeling at the reef out front is ideal, as is relaxing on the nearly empty beach. Sea Biscuit is updated, clean, so nicely decorated and well stocked. The brand new Huffy bikes were a highlight, as we rode them every morning to Starfish Bay and Rum Point. White Sands runs a great small boat trip to Stingray City: we took the 7 am trip and had the rays all to ourselves! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Sea Jiscuit and highly recommend it.

"Sea Biscuit was beautiful and a lovely spot to end our vacation! So quiet and remote! We felt right at home here, we loved sitting on the patio and especially loved the bikes!!! We used them to ride to Starfish point many times and check out the area! It was very windy during our visit and were so sad we couldn’t enjoy the beach and potential snorkelling but the water looked beautiful! Loved access to a washing machine to do some laundry mid trip! Would 100% recommend Don’s place to anyone coming to Rum Point! Definitely suggest grabbing some groceries and booze before heading out there! The host and guest manager were super responsive, helpful and provided dinner suggestions for us!

"it had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well equipped, beautiful linens, bed was very comfortable. Location was exactly what we were looking for. We used the grill several nights, there are loungers everywhere on the property and on the beach to enjoy the surroundings.

"Book it, you will love it, and be very well taken care of. It’s immaculate. I slept perfectly (clean cool air, nice linens, and the bed is beyond comfortable). All of the positive reviews I read align with my experience. This is a place I would love to come back to. I actually locked myself out my first morning, and instantly (within a minute or two) I had a reply from Don and Julie. Angela came by to let me in. Everyone was professional and very kind. They also offered me to come by early to put groceries in the fridge. The communication with this listing is top notch. Thank you Don, Julie, Angela, and team. I was very well taken care of and highly recommend.

"if you like perfection & right on the bch this is your quiet get away. Might have a few downpours...then nap! Snorkel right here, find your fav foid or eat in. You'll only need a swim suit!

"We split our vacation to 4 days on Seven Mile Beach, and 4 days at the Sea Biscuit. We agreed that our Sea Biscuit stay was much more peaceful and relaxing. Such a lovely place, felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. The cottage was so clean and has everything you will need. We made many of our own meals on the outside gas grill. We did some exploring, watched the sunrise and had meals on the patio. The constant breeze at the beach, as well as the thatched umbrellas made for a perfect day of reading and relaxing. Julie was so great at checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. We will have great memories of this vacation!

Secluded, clean, and beautiful views

"We loved our stay at Sea Biscuit! Everything about the condo was great- clean, comfortable, and we loved the screened in porch! It came with snorkel gear, beach towels…all you need! The property manager Julie was great to work with! In late May, we had the beach all to ourselves most of the time! And we loved using the bikes to ride to Rum Point and Starfish beaches! There are 3 restaurants you can bike to and another 3-4 within a 20 minute drive- all that we tried were great! A rental car is a must if you want to see the island. You are about 45 mins from Seven Mile beach, which is definitely the prettiest. But we loved being secluded and chose to drive in to the more populated area to spend one day. Governor’s beach was a great place to park & see all of 7 Mile- breathtaking! Such a fun trip and we’d love to come back!

"It was one of the best equipped AirBB’s we have visited. They thought of everything. Washer/dryer, hair dryer, several ways to brew coffee and teas, etc. Wonderful linens and plenty of them. We loved beachcombing out front and it is a good snorkeling beach if the wind is not howling. Avoid Kaibo’s restaurant unless you want to pay $100+ for a not very good burger and pizza. We loved Over the Edge for breakfast and dinner was good there as well. The Turtle Sanctuary is a must do. Starfish Beach was a great hangout in the afternoon and evening for sunsets. Can’t wait to come back!

"This B & B is perfect! Beautiful property that is quiet and secluded. Beach is amazing and perfect for a walk. After watching the sunrise and a walk, I would return to breakfast on the patio. Small shopping area just a 10 min walk. Nice touch to provide use of bikes, kayak, paddle board and a cooler for our boat tour. Definitely recommend a car rental as taxis are very expensive. Owner and staff are WONDERFUL! We will be back!

"It was so charming in thoughtful decor and all the comforting amenities. Waking up and opening the curtains in the bedroom to the palms swaying in the breeze was a treat, not to mention taking in the morning sunshine with a cup of coffee in the screened in sunroom. Absolute bliss! The bikes were great to cycle into Rum Point where we played Bocci Ball, swam at the calm beach and snorkelled. Highly recommend participating in the Bioluminescent Kayaking! We will cherish the memories of our stay fondly.

"we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. When we arrived on Saturday, we got groceries. Thought they were closed but that was Fosters warehouse. Our phones didn't work if we had read our hosts instructions would have gotten Wi-Fi. Once we figured the Wi-Fi out with friendly local, we found our way. We enjoyed the botanical gardens, bioalumanesent kayak tour, crystal caves, and local cuisine. We REALLY enjoyed our time. THANK YOU!
