Snug Harbour View #1 is a charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath, ground floor canal front condo in a peaceful residential enclave off Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach Corridor.
Recently renovated in January 2023, it features new appliances, modern fixtures, and contemporary furnishings for a fresh, comfortable stay just minutes from the island’s best beaches, dining, shopping, and nightlife.
Typically about a 10–15 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, it offers a canal front pool, private dock, and easy access to North Sound by boat—an ideal base for couples, solo travelers, or remote workers who want a quiet home close to the action.

• Each unit includes 2 lightweight folding beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach umbrella so you can head straight to Seven Mile Beach without extra rentals.
• The property’s canal front setting gives you quiet water views and breezes while still being only a short walk or quick drive from the famous Seven Mile Beach shoreline.

DOCK & WATER GEAR NOTICE
Guests are welcome to enjoy the canal front setting, but please note there is no ladder or steps on the dock. This means getting a paddleboard or other gear up from the water onto the dock can be challenging and may require good balance and strength. Most of the time the canal is calm for paddling, with occasional boat traffic passing through. Paddleboarding or using any watercraft from the dock is strictly at your own risk, and the owner/management cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury.

CONVENIENT LOCATION
•    Located on Palm Heights Drive in the Snug Harbour area, in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach corridor.
•    The world famous Seven Mile Beach is roughly a 15 minute walk or about a 5 minute drive away (depending on traffic and exact beach access point).
•    Camana Bay, with its shops, cinema, restaurants, and waterfront promenade, is about a 15–20 minute walk or 5–7 minute drive.
•    A car is recommended for maximum flexibility, but guests who enjoy walking will appreciate being able to reach many restaurants, bars, and beach spots on foot.

Snug Harbour View #1 is ideal for guests who want a quiet, residential feel but still be within a short walk or quick drive of the Seven Mile Beach corridor’s restaurants, bars, and cafés. It works especially well for:

WALKING DISTANCE OPTIONS (APPROX. 10–20 MINUTES ON FOOT)
From Snug Harbour (Palm Heights Drive), guests can walk out to West Bay Road and reach a variety of casual and mid range spots along the Seven Mile Beach corridor:
•    Coconut Joe’s – About 15–20 minutes on foot; laid back open air spot for burgers, local dishes, and cocktails right on West Bay Road.
•    Peppers Bar & Grill – Roughly 15–20 minutes’ walk; popular for jerk and BBQ, grilled meats, and a lively bar scene in the evenings.
•    Chicken! Chicken! – Around 15–20 minutes’ walk; casual counter service with excellent rotisserie and jerk chicken, great for takeout back to the condo.
•    Island Naturals (The Grove) – Walkable with a slightly longer stroll or a very short drive; good for smoothies, vegetarian/vegan options, and healthier breakfasts or lunches.
These make it easy for guests who don’t always want to drive at night but are comfortable with a 15–20 minute stroll.

SHORT DRIVE – SEVEN MILE BEACH & CAMANA BAY (APPROX. 5–10 MINUTES)
Within about a 5–10 minute drive, guests have dozens of options from casual to upscale along Seven Mile Beach and at Camana Bay:

•    Ristorante Pappagallo (West Bay) – About 15–20 minutes away; destination Italian restaurant by a bird sanctuary with a romantic, special occasion feel.
•    Calypso Grill (Morgan’s Harbour) – Similar 15–20 minute range; colorful waterfront setting, excellent seafood, famous sticky toffee pudding.

Nearby activities include beach days on Seven Mile, shopping and events at Camana Bay, and easy access by car or tour to island highlights like Stingray City, the Turtle Centre, and Dolphin attractions. GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Foster's and Kirk Market supermarkets are short drives away and offer all the necessary food and supplies as well as a large array of international food.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in East End, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"I loved staying at Snug Harbour View. The location was perfect. We were very close to Governor’s Beach and Cemetery Beach and all the great restaurants in the seven mile beach area and West Bay. The place we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Comfort, Great Amenities & Island Adventures

"Fantastic property in a quiet location, communication with the property management team was fantastic. The condo has everything that you need for a great stay. The pool, whilst small, was never busy and a nice place to relax if you don’t fancy going out to the beach. The property also has beach chairs, beach umbrella and cool box, so that you can take lunch and a couple of beers to the beach. A great extra touch, thank you.We absolutely loved Grand Cayman, the accommodation, friendliness of the people and it’s so clean and safe.A few of recommendations…1) rent a car, it’s a good walk to the beaches, restaurants or busses. The Island has great places, beaches etc to explore. 2) Cemetery beach is good for snorkelling. 3) Spotts beach for snorkelling with Turtles. 4) Visit Rum Point and Starfish Point. 5) Take a tour to Stingray Island (a must do), 6) visit the Crystal Caves and Botanical Gardens. 7) take the Bioluminescent tour with “Cayman Kayaks” from Rum Point. Restaurants, Ragazzi in Buckingham Square was excellent and walkable from the accommodation. Don’t be fooled by the look of the place from the main road side, inside the square it is an elegant Italian and the food and service was fantastic.The Wharf is another great restaurant, with a great view and feeding Tarpon but you’ll need transport to get there. There are many other excellent places to eat and visit, these are just a few that we found and loved.

"The property was in a good area .. close to restaurants but away from noise and chaos .. the host and staff were very responsive and gave recommendations when asked .. the only thing that would have made me give them 5 stars for everything is if i was able to have and early check in or late checkout but the explained that it wasn’t possible because they had gussets arriving before and after , the did however offer to keep our luggage .. overall i would stay here again

"Third time is a charm! Snug Harbour is my home away home when in the Cayman Islands. Peaceful surroundings. The hosts and the property managers are helpful and courteous. "This place is wonderful. End unit with no one above you. Nice walk to the beach. So close to Camana Bay shopping and restaurants. Lovely neighborhood to take an evening walk. Spotless on arrival! Shellie greeted us and gave us a nice tour when we arrived. Management got ahold of us before we traveled to make sure we had everything situated. Lovely little deck for dining Al fresco. It was a perfect choice for us ❤️.

"Very enjoyable stay. Unit was spotless, beautifully located on the canal, kitchen well appointed for those wanting to cook. Bed was comfy. Air con kept it nicely cooled. Maintenance manager very helpful when had a bit of issue with tv. Overall a very nice unit.

"This is my 2nd time booking with Don, and i must say, its been a real pleasure. Don has been great. The property manager (Ms. Melinda) is super responsive. When you arrive, the neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. The condo feels like home, I could never stay at a hotel after my 1st visit. So, here I am again #smile. The condon was super clean, all rooms, just felt light. Its home away from home. Thanks for the experience. See you soon Best regards A.

It was an awesome stay...just one thing, the cabinet in the bathroom, the drawer couldn't close, so its an incident waiting to happen, I recommend it is repaired. Outside of that, it was great. Condo #6 is my preference though. Cheers. Thanks for the experience.
