•    Kitchen: dishwashing liquid and/or dishwasher tabs, basic pantry items (salt, pepper, coffee filters)
•    Bath & laundry: shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, laundry detergent, blow dryer, iron and ironing board
•    Linens: bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels
•    Two beach chairs and a cooler are also provided for easy beach days.

DINING & LOCATION – SUMMERTIME SUITES, WEST BAY
Summertime Suites sits in a quiet residential pocket of West Bay off Batabano Road, about 15–20 minutes from the airport and roughly 5–7 minutes’ drive from the northern end of Seven Mile Beach. It’s a relaxed, local feeling base with easy driving access to West Bay’s waterfront restaurants, the Seven Mile Beach corridor, and Camana Bay’s dining and shopping.

NEARBY OPTIONS (SHORT DRIVE)
Within about 5–10 minutes by car, you can reach some of West Bay’s best known spots:
•    Macabuca Tiki Bar & Cracked Conch – Roughly 8–10 minutes’ drive; casual oceanside tiki bar at Macabuca and more upscale Caribbean fusion dining at Cracked Conch, both great for sunset and sea views.
•    Ristorante Pappagallo – About 8–10 minutes’ drive; destination Italian restaurant on an inland lake by a bird sanctuary, popular for romantic dinners and special occasions.
•    Tukka West – Approximately 10 minutes’ drive; Caribbean Australian fusion, strong seafood and cocktail menu, with a breezy dockside setting.
•    Other West Bay favorites – You’re also a short drive from additional West Bay eateries and cafés offering local Caymanian dishes, international cuisine, and casual family dining.

SHORT DRIVE – SEVEN MILE BEACH & CAMANA BAY
In around 10–15 minutes, you can be in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach strip and Camana Bay:
•    Seven Mile Beach corridor – Lined with casual and upscale restaurants, beach bars, and hotel dining, covering everything from burgers and pizza to fine dining and sushi.
•    Camana Bay – A waterfront town center with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, gelato, and a cinema, ideal for evening strolls and dining out.
From Summertime Suites you can enjoy a calm, neighborhood feel at “home,” then head out by car to experience West Bay’s oceanfront dining and the full variety of restaurants along Seven Mile Beach.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Foster's and Kirk Market supermarkets are short drives away and offer all the necessary food and supplies as well as a large array of international food.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Public transportation can be readily used in this area however having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

•    Second-Floor corner condo, access via steps - no elevator
•    One reserved parking space is provided.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"Summerhouse Unit 53 has been one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. Communication was quick and easy from the start, and the host was incredibly helpful and informative, providing a local guide with recommendations for things to do and see. The property is beautiful, spotless, and has a real home-away-from-home feel. The host was also kind enough to arrange a late check-out when I requested it, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"We had a pleasant stay at this property. The unit was very clean, and the surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and truly beautiful. We especially loved that it was within walking distance of Calypso Grill and Tukka, two great local restaurants. It was also just a short drive to several different beaches, which made exploring the island really convenient.We did run into an issue with the air conditioner during the first three days of our stay. Once we realized it wasn’t working properly, the property manager responded quickly. Unfortunately, the fix required a full replacement of the unit, which meant having workers inside for about two days. It wasn’t ideal, but we appreciated that the team acted fast once the problem was reported.The only other hiccup was a bit of confusion about who exactly we were renting the unit from, but communication overall was responsive and helpful.Despite the bumps, the location and cleanliness made this a solid stay, and with the new AC in place, future guests should have an even smoother experience

"I enjoyed my stay at the Summertime Suites! Lots of parking, easy check in, responsive host, and clean facilities. The washer and dryer with complimentary detergent pods were much appreciated after beach days. I’d definitely recommend renting a car if staying here, as most taxis were 35-50 USD one way! Walkable restaurants in the area too.
