•    The Caboose – Well reviewed local spot in Old Man Bay known for Caribbean flavors and easy, relaxed vibes.
•    Other local stands and cafes – Small, authentic stops for Caymanian bites along the North Side and into East End.

RUM POINT & CAYMAN KAI (ABOUT 10–15 MINUTES)
•    Rum Point Club – Casual beachfront restaurant and bar with pizzas, beach fare, and the island famous Mudslide.
•    Kaibo Beach Restaurant & Upstairs Restaurant – Beachfront dining downstairs and a more refined experience upstairs, popular for sunset dinners and cocktails.
You’re also within an easy drive of water based activities at Rum Point and Cayman Kai, including boat charters, snorkeling trips, and sandbar excursions.

GETTING THERE
Northside is roughly 30 km from Owen Roberts International Airport, typically about 30–40 minutes by car depending on traffic and stops along the way.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 10 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 10 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in Northside, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mastic Chapel. The home was beyond our expectations. It was exactly as described and even more beautiful in person. It was also very clean. "We had the best time at the Mastic Chapel! The place was spotless with everything you could need - beach towels, bathrobes, soap, kitchen appliances and cookware, etc. The host was communicative and left us snacks and drinks prior to arrival since we were getting in late. The property is in a great location- less than 15 minutes to Rum Point and around 45 minutes to Seven Mile Beach. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, unique getaway!
