The “ONE LOVE” #1 is a ground‑floor, handicap‑friendly studio in The Cottages, a boutique 10‑studio bed and breakfast on Grand Cayman’s East End, about a 45‑minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport.

It provides a serene, comfortable setting for 2 guests with modern amenities, accessible features, personalized service, and easy access to both on‑site and nearby island attractions.

Whether for a romantic escape or a peaceful retreat, this ocean view cottage offers a relaxing, disability‑friendly place to unwind and enjoy your stay.

ACCOMMODATION & INTERIOR FEATURES
•    The " ONE LOVE " #1 cottage is a ground -floor 500-square-foot studio cottage with a direct ocean view.
•    The cottage is handicapped approved and has the option to adjoin with the "No Problem" unit next door, with the possibility of accommodating a family of up to 6 persons.
•    It features a king-size bed with luxury bedding, accommodating up to 2 persons.
•    The cottage has a full bath and shower.
•    Outdoor seating for 4 including a swing on the covered lanai, perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks.
• Equipped kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge for light meals, snacks, and chilled beverages.
•    Natural, green, and organic premium toiletries, Brita water filter bottle, bathrobes, in room safe, and luggage rack.
•    Smart TV, high speed Wi Fi, and Bluetooth clock radio for entertainment and connectivity.
•    Complimentary mid week cleaning and daily towel change available upon request.

•    Daily breakfast with locally grown foods delivered to your private covered lanai, featuring items such as scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, fresh banana bread, seasonal fruit, and French toast on request.

•    Fantastic snorkelling right off the beach, so you can enjoy the reef without leaving the property.
•    Full service concierge available to book attractions and on site activities, including a Caribbean cooking class (subject to minimum numbers).
•    Disabled access.
•    Complimentary high speed Wi Fi and flat panel HDTV with cable across the property.
•    New, fully equipped air conditioned gym including books and games for downtime.
•    Self service, pay on site laundry with laundry pods and fabric softener, convenient for longer stays.

BEACH CONDITIONS
Properties on the North Side and East End of Grand Cayman may occasionally see sargassum (seaweed) wash ashore, mostly between May and August. This is a natural, seasonal occurrence throughout the Caribbean, and conditions can vary day to day.

Grand Cayman offers gorgeous beaches, great snorkeling, and plenty to enjoy island-wide, so we don't anticipate it impacting your trip, just a heads-up in case you notice it during your visit.

DINING & NEARBY ACTIVITIES – EAST END
The Cottages is in the scenic East End district, close to beaches, watersports, and a cluster of popular local restaurants and bars.

Within walking distance or a short drive:
•    Italian Kitchen at Morritt’s Plaza – Casual Italian inspired fare and pizzas.
•    David’s Restaurant (Morritt’s) – Sit down dining with seafood and steaks.
•    Mimi’s Dock Bar (Morritt’s) – Laid back dock bar for drinks and bites over the water.
•    Tides, Subway, and Coffee Bar at the Wyndham – Additional dining, grab and go, and coffee options.

Short drive (approx. 5–15 minutes):
•    Vivine’s Kitchen – Classic Caymanian home cooking with sea views.
•    Eagle Ray Grill – Burgers, tacos, and casual fare overlooking the reef.
•    Big Tree BBQ & other local spots – Authentic roadside barbecue and island dishes.
•    La Casita – Mexican restaurant where guests receive 10% off, with pick up options available.

Guests are also close to watersports and tours, including Stingray City trips, kayak rentals, jet skis, diving, and snorkelling excursions, often with a 10% discount at White Sand Water Sports once booked.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 10 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 10 minutes from The Cottages.

TRANSPORTATION
•    A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
•    Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
•    Due to limited public transportation in East End, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.
Check in is any time after 3:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related disruptions.

"We had a wonderful stay at the One Love cottage. Clean, nicely decorated and well laid out. The property was beautiful, nicely landscaped, also clean, and the surroundings were gorgeous. There were always plenty of chairs for all of the guests around the pool or on the beach. Our host Glen was amazing! She was friendly, helpful and always quick to respond to anything we needed. This is a very peaceful place if you truly want rest and relaxation. You will have to drive to decent restaurants or attractions as there is not much walkable. But for what we wanted, true quiet and rest it was perfect. The only issue we had was the main door to our unit had frosted glass which let in sunlight as soon as the sun came up, making it hard harder to sleep in. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we would visit again.

"The Cottages did not disappoint! The staff Glen and Mary were so sweet, kind and helpful. Always available to help if needed. By the end of our 11 day stay they felt like family. our cottage had pretty much everything we needed... shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Kitchen supplies etc. The pool is great with a great view for relaxing. The beach is small.... but wonderful. Great outdoor seating. Breakfast every morning was such a treat. Nice gym and easy laundry facility. Don't hesitate to book The Cottages... you won't be disappointed!

"We have been coming to Cayman for over 20 years. It's not only the island itself that keeps us coming back but the people as well. This is our 1st stay on East End and it would be an understatement to say that we REALLY enjoyed ourselves! Ms Lynn has built a wonderful little piece of paradise at The Cottages. It's the peace and quiet that we were looking for to spend our 39th Wedding Anniversary. The accommodations were excellent and the staff is some of the best that we have encountered. Glen and Mary we're amazing! We cannot thank them enough for their excellent and very personable service. 5 stars is an understatement. If you're looking for a place to relax and reconnect without the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Paul and Tina Couch

"! The location felt very private and we the location was great. It was close to the mkt and the car rental place. We were close to the restaurants and the dive shop near by. The area was less touristy and it felt more secluded. Keep in mind the area closes early but we had a full day of beach fun and snorkeling

"We had such an amazing time while at One Love. First of all the view is incredible! Just a few steps out your front door and your toes are in the sand! Breakfast was ready on time every morning! The cottage was super clean. Spacious walk in shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Glen and Mary took care of us while here and they were the sweetest little gals who made sure we had everything we needed. We had zero complaints about our stay and would definitely love to come back in the future!

"This place was wonderful! Beautiful, peaceful and uncrowded. Our unit 'One Love' (one of maybe 10) was not totally beachfront in the sense that it was toward the back of the property so it didn't directly overlook the beach. That said, we could see the ocean from the unit, looking past other units and over the pool. Some of the nicest parts were that the place was lovely, clean, well laid-out. We were thankful to be set up with coffee and some other basics. Breakfast was convenient, nice but not fabulous but we could set it up for whatever time we wanted. The chairs in the pool and others by the pool and others on the private beach were very comfortable. Being the first week of the New Year, we expected it to be crowded, but we felt very private, only occasionally seeing another guest. AC was great; it got quite cold. All in all, we would definitely return - just might ask if one of the 'direct oceanfront' rooms was available. If not, we'd come anyway! Go, enjoy! You will love it!
